Brigitte Bardot: Intimate is the most intimate journey into the life of an icon, through the eyes of a friend who knew her best. This book unveils a remarkable discovery: a suitcase filled with never-before-published negatives, found in the attic of Jicky Dussart, renowned photographer and one of Bardots closest friends. The collection offers a rare, deeply personal portrait of one of Frances most iconic actresses, capturing moments between her glamorous life in Saint-Tropez and the unforgettable films that helped define her legacy. These photographs also capture the actress far from the spotlightat La Madrague, her home in Saint-Tropez, spending time with her friends, dancing, singing, and taking care of animals.
In collaboration with Bardot herself, French writer Fabrice Gaignault crafts an unfiltered narrative that brings these evocative images to life, enriched by the actresss own words and reflections as she revisited the photographs by his side. Her voice, tender and free echoes through the pages, adding emotion and sincerity to this intimate portrait.
